My interest and commitment to RTS stems from my role as medical lead in the program. Working with the RTS staff and in practice, it became apparent how valuable the offering of bereavement care is to patients, families, and practicing clinicians.

Serving on the Board of Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) reflects my commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of people facing some of life’s most difficult moments. Grief and loss are universal experiences, and ensuring that healthcare professionals are equipped with best practices and compassionate training is essential to supporting families during these times.

I’m inspired by RTS’s national reputation for excellence and its powerful mission. I’m honored by the opportunity to contribute my background in strategy, leadership, and marketing to help guide its continued growth, broaden its reach, and strengthen its impact.

I chose to serve on the Resolve Through Sharing Board because I have personally experienced the profound impact compassionate grief support can have during life’s darkest moments. After the loss of my son to suicide, programs like RTS helped provide understanding, connection, and support when it was needed most. RTS provided me the opportunity to share my story and provided me additional resources.

Serving on the Board of Resolve Through Sharing allows me to support an organization that provides comfort, guidance, and hope to individuals and families navigating grief and loss. Throughout my legal career, I have worked with families during some of life's most difficult transitions and have seen firsthand the importance of compassionate support and meaningful resources. I am inspired by the organization’s commitment to advancing quality bereavement care to patients and equipping professionals with the tools they need to serve others with empathy and understanding. I am honored to contribute my experience and help further the mission and impact of RTS.

Margaret Grensien

Margaret Grenisen, MD

Director

My interest in Resolve Through Sharing is deeply personal. I first became aware of the organization following the death of my daughter Claire, who passed away from congenital heart disease in 1991. At that time, materials provided through the Women's Resource Center offered comfort and understanding during an unimaginable loss. Years later, after the suicide of my son Luke in 2018, I again found support and affirmation through RTS materials shared by a colleague. These experiences gave me a profound appreciation for the organization's mission and impact. I am honored to serve on the board and support the critical resources RTS provides to individuals and families navigating grief and loss.

Matt Kabliska

Matt Kabliska, MBA

Director

My personal motivation for joining the Resolve Through Sharing Board stems from my experience as the Director of Advance Care Planning and Bereavement Services at Gundersen Health System. In this role, I partnered with dedicated individuals to lead the Resolve Through Sharing program. I witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm and commitment of those who developed the program, as well as the positive impact the training had on countless people. I firmly believe that the program must continue so that bereaved individuals receive exceptional support from healthcare professionals who are well-prepared and trained to deliver the highest quality bereavement care.

Jean and I learned of RTS after losing our newborn daughter and then our stillborn son in 1984 and 1986. We received support from RTS then and have benefited from its guiding principles. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to speak at a conference, participate in a book by Rana Limbo by sharing our story, and finally assist in the production of tools for Compassionate Goodbyes, a program for veterinary professionals to better aid their clients recovering from a loss of a pet.

I’m excited to serve as special counsel to RTS Inc because I’ve seen first-hand the tremendous impact that RTS has in the lives of patients, families, and healthcare providers. From day one, I’ve always felt like part of the RTS family, and I look forward to DigiCOPY’s continued commitment to RTS's mission during this next chapter.

I believe any worthwhile endeavor must do well (financially) and good (societally). My experience working with Mary Beth and team has shown me RTS checks both buckets and, in its next iteration, will do exponentially more. I am excited to be part of that journey.
